The Royal Court of Justice, Strand, Londonl

Posted by Ingemar Fredriksson

Strand, London WC2A 2LL

This building is amazing enough to watch from the outside but you are also allowed to enter for free but remember you need to be above 14 years old, phones must be switched off and cameras are not allowed.

Anyone is also allowed to watch the trials apart from private family cases and this too is free of charge.

The building is a piece of Victorian Gothic architecture and was completed in 1882 when it was opened by Queen Victoria. It has many nice details and even the lampposts outside is very nicely decorated. It is located on the Strand and surrounded by the four Inns of Court, Kings College London and the London School of Economics.

To get here with the Underground it is best to get off at Chancery Lane or Temple.
